Challenges faced and lessons learned on the mat are preparation for the complex world that meets you off your mat. I found yoga during a challenging time in my life and rediscovered the power of breath, movement, and my own inner strength.
Whether you are new to your mat, returning to your mat, or a seasoned practitioner-I look forward to breathing and learning together.

Vinyasa Yoga
This energizing and empowering practice will link breath and movement to provide you with a deeper connection to your body, your mind, your innate power. Classes include flowing sun salutations, breath practice, and alignment focused posture studies. This is an ideal way for beginning students to strengthen their practice and experienced practitioners to deepen their yoga study.
Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga
During pregnancy mind/body connection is even more critical for the health and well being of both the birthing person and baby. This class will foster a deeper connection with your amazing body through slow strengthening postures, breath work, and mental preparation for the hard work of labor.
Post birth it is important to reconnect and rediscover the strength of your physical and mental selves. This class will help to rebuild abdominal strength, promote body awareness in daily parenting activities (breastfeeding, carrying a carseat, etc), and provide time for you to be quiet and still and rejuvenate.
Yoga Teacher Education Sessions
As an E-RYT 200 who has coached, led, and helped create and implement a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher training, Emily has lots of experience in guiding others in the art of yoga teaching. These individually tailored meetings will be an opportunity to discuss sequencing, posture study, alignment, adjustments, theming, music selection, prop usage, and more with an experienced teacher. This is an ideal opportunity for new teachers to find some additional mentorship and guidance as they begin on their yoga teaching journey.
